Legal Experience
Real Estate Litigation - Mr. Mao litigates all aspects of real estate litigation, including disputes over buy-sell agreements, commercial leasing, broker/agent liability, construction defects, course of construction disputes,
problems arising in public work projects, premises liability, unlawful detainer, right of use, and planned
developments.
Insurance Defense and Coverage - Mr. Mao provides general litigation defense to insureds against various
t
ypes of suits including, but not limited to, professional negligence and real estate disputes. He also has considerable experience providing insurance coverage analysis for various types policies, including CGL policies, various errors & omissions and professional liability policies, and course of construction policies.
Financial Services Litigation - Mr. Mao defends and litigates claims against various financial institutions such as securities broker dealers, real estate agencies, real estate developers, and national and state banks. Mr. Mao has considerable experience in handling financial services litigation in alternative forums such as FINRA, in addition to federal and state courts.
