Legal Experience
Employment Litigation and Counseling – Mr. Sevilla litigates employment and labor disputes in state and
federal courts and administrative agencies, with an emphasis on wage and hour class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and unfair competition claims. Mr. Sevilla also
counsels a wide range of businesses on how to develop policies, train employees, and prevent litigation.
Community Service and Pro Bono Representation – Mr. Sevilla’s commitment to pro bono activities includes representation of various clients in the areas of asylum law, criminal records expungement, and landlord tenant issues. He also teaches a mock trial class at Mission High School in San Francisco, preparing his students to compete in the annual statewide Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Competition.
Education
University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), JD 2005. Mr. Sevilla was a member and published author for the California Law Review, an investigator for the Death Penalty Clinic, and an editor for the Asian Law Journal. Mr. Sevilla also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Charles R. Breyer of the Northern District of California.
